Are you swallowing the lies of the modern times? do you languish at the oncome of our demise? If you held me down would I hold you down? are you pulling on the ropes so that I can rise? are you busy lifting weights where the bullet flies? If I held you down would you hold me down? the day the oceans swallow me/I'm not afraid, I'll be ready and when the waves wash over me/I will be food for better beasts are you burning down the ground upon which you stand? are you stealing from the plate of the beggarman? If you don’t hold me down I won’t hold you down the day the flames crawl over me/I won't be afraid, I'll be ready and as my ashes fall they may/nourish blooms of a brighter day we're living all the lies of these manic times we're living all the lies of these manic times but must we fight the war we were brought up for? now we must fight the war we were brought up for we must conquer the throne of the bored and old we must conquer the throne of the bought and sold the day the wind blows me away/I'm not afraid, I'll be ready and as my flesh and bones decay /may some kinder creature take my place sweetheart won't you come rest with me?/down at the bottom of the sea cause earth is the place yeah the only place for you and me

I'll satisfy all my desires then jump out of this house on fire by now this world's turning too fast and nothing's ever going to last there is a shadow haunting me a putrid stench upon the breeze gas-leaking craters in the ice a lunatic selling you lies will the ship go down with me? will the ship go down with me? will the ship go down? will she take me down? there is no thunder in the sky LIES LIES there are no rivers running dry LIES LIES there are no forests of dead trees LIES LIES no fires burning deep beneath LIES LIES will the ship go down with me? will the ship go down with me? will the ship go down? will she take me down? will you come and drown with me? will you come and drown with me? when the ship goes down, will she take us down?

Alibis 04:27
See how swollen are my feet from trying to climb this gnarly old tree things can change and so do we a thousand looks, the same old style tiny lies, monstrous denial forever stored inside our file hiding underground from that familiar sound when you shout out loud as if I stabbed a knife in your back till you come around I know that look upon your face just like the silence after the rage as if it's just another phase all my wrongs don't make you right with every grudge old phantoms rise they've used up all their alibis so if that bond was strong where did we go wrong? or has it been too long to pull ourselves back from the dark when we come around we fight our 100 000 fights I lose a chip each time you strike an ache for every line I write hollow sound of forced goodbyes stiff and awkward every stride as if I'm leaving you behind

Catastrophe 05:32
Pains in me may write another story when will we see the price of our glory? stale, appalled we await another downfall so where’s it all? a feeling says it’s gone it’s all gone watch you read achievements of our old saints when we bleed who’s ready to take the blame? catastrophe to steer us out of the haze oh! earth be freed with all big plans finally erased and no one will hide when the waters swallow all desperate mouths will pray but all to no avail washed by the tide broken bodies will sprawl when the seasons will fail their perpetual trail burnt away cold ashes of the old age dormant seeds they smother in the faint flames slow defeat the curtains drawn on this stage a boiling sea fumes rising from the last page and no one will hide or escape the firewalls when volcanoes will wail their salute to our tale silenced the last life tornados blow funeral horns over our scattered remains between fossilised snails so wait just wait for it just wait until we bleed just wait for catastrophe pains in me they wrote another story failed to pay the price for our glory taught to stall we await the final downfall do we hear the call? the feeling says we don’t the feeling says we don’t I’ll be on the run I’ll be on the run.

Victoria wakes from a stormy night says the time is right slept among snakes and all the memories made it hard to breathe and so she waves a last goodbye at the passers-by did she ever care to love me? would she come back and haunt me? saucer eyes and graveyard smiles or would she come to see reason? treasure or treason and sing me a sad old lullaby Victoria waits with a razor blade for heart to race girl it's not too late make no mistake would be such a waste a narrow escape from the soothing sight of a warm bright light did she ever care to love me? would she come back and haunt me? saucer eyes and graveyard smiles or would she come to see reason? treasure or treason and sing me a sad old lullaby? ah yes, I knew of her twisted truth proud as a queen wax for the bees wood for the trees oh how she ached for her bones to break out in the street swallowing seeds meat for the feast did you ever care to love me? would you come back and haunt me? saucer eyes and graveyard smiles or would you come to see reason? treasure or treason and sing me that sad old lullaby and will you know where to find me? to bring ache and disease for I never said goodbye

Father where are you taking me? all these places are strange and unknown to me lost my sense of reality after marching for hours and days and weeks Mother where are you taking me? all these places will haunt me in my dreams I hold on tight to my memories of playing in the shade of the chestnut tree I am a stranger in this town I may be free when you're around will you ever come? I am a stranger in this land and so I pray for helping hands will they ever come? brother where are they taking me? I've heard stories of health and money and peace everything that we left to seek through the desert and then across the sea I am a stranger in this town I may be free when you're around will you ever come? I am a stranger in this land and so I pray for helping hands will they ever come? I'm no more a stranger in this town and I am free now you're around no more on the run I'm no more a stranger in this land don't trace my footsteps in the sand it's over and done I'm no more a stranger in this land I'm here to stay you understand and I will belong yes I will belong.

Texas Stomp 04:02
One second there I heard your voice ’t said "do you really have a choice?" t’wards victory, never defeat see oh me the iron bleeds on sacred ground the air was moist from oil & sweat & grownup’s toys heart misses one feeble beat mute the voice of dread in me Master, the coin is tossed. at first pull it felt so bad floor of bones & bowels & blood in the mist a solid wall ripped down by a cannonball Master, the coin is tossed. Caesar, the dice have dropped. hush hush don't run around hush hush don't make no sound Master, the coin was tossed Caesar, the dice have dropped Master, we fought & lost.

Don't leave me alone with all my troubles don't leave me alone with all my troubles please be wise and strong please don't take too long and please do not deny what I have known all along don't leave me alone with all my sorrow you promised me there would be a tomorrow please be true and brave don't taint yourself with shame and don't pretend that our world could ever stay the same don't leave me alone with all my worries all I see you do these days is hurry keep me on my way so I don't go astray or I'll have to ask myself just why you joined the fray don't leave us alone with all our troubles don't leave us alone with all our troubles show us better days a way out of the maze so we'll still be here when all the corals will have gone to waste.
